Happy New Year everyone! 😁 I hope you all saw it in with those dearest to you.
I’m going to take this opportunity to tell you my health and fitness plans for this year.
I’ve been steadily working away at 4 or 5 workouts a week every week and am still so motivated about my fitness. Now the festive season is over I really want to get T involved in my workouts again as part of our healthy lifestyle.
We started well with a 1.5 mile run earlier today! 😁
I’m not a natural runner but she didn’t fancy a home workout so I mentioned a run and as she was really up for it I took the opportunity and off we went!
We have all over indulged the last week and are ready to get back to some healthy food and say goodbye to the buffet food until the next big occasion!
I’m not feeling guilty about the treats, I’ve still commited to 4 regular workouts a week including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and I’ve kept my water intake fairly high.
That said I have really enjoyed my peanut butter jelly smoothie for lunch yesterday and breakfast today.
To keep myself accountable I’ve set some goals for January as part of #31daysofcommitment which is part of a Facebook group created by Move with Ben, A fitness coach I have followed online for a while. He has created this group as a place where people can inspire and motivate each other with fitness goals and posts and he is running regular themes through the year along with live workouts.
Here are my goals for January, as you can see they don’t all have to be fitness related.
Along with my food planner and record of my measurements I have my fab new diary to keep me organised this year so can’t wait to get going!
My target is to feel fabulous for Scott’s 40th birthday weekend in April as I’m taking him away for a surprise few days away.
I’d love to hear your goals for January,
Thanks for reading
