It happens to us all

It doesn’t matter how strong you are, how many times a week you work out or how many followers you have on social media sometimes you get hurt.

For no apparent reason people can just jump right on in there and burst your bubble. It doesn’t matter how long you have been friends and what has come before, you think it’s never going to happen and unfortunely it does.

You brush it off as something that you are fine about when really it’s got you.

Break ups, births, deaths, new relationships, christenings, weddings you have been through it all but somehow that doesn’t seem to matter.

The day passes and you aren’t invited, for whatever reason you were not on that list, the pictures come, and come and come and in the end you can’t bear to look at them any more and ‘hide’ them. You want to be happy for them but realise they didn’t want you there so why would they even care.

This has hurt you more than you thought it would, it’s been a while since you’ve been hurt like this and you know it won’t last forever but for now it makes you sad.

You will continue to be the person you are and always wonder in the back of your mind what you did wrong.

No one is invincible, we can only do our best.

  1. I totally agree with you lovely πŸ’— It isn’t our fault when that happens. A relationship with a friend, family member or who else has to be two ways always. Otherwise it won’t work. I’m feeling you and sending you lots of love πŸ’— You will get through it
