Its been a full on week over here and such at times I’ve felt my training has suffered but what can you do.
I had a fab night out last weekend with my lovely friend, something I’ve not done in about 2 years and we had so much fun 😁
So due to this I was extremely tired Sunday and Monday and only managed a 20 minute banded workout Monday evening, worth it though 😊
Scott ran his 10k race last Sunday and only went and won it 😂 So proud and happy for him.
Tuesday I was at a meeting 4 hours away which meant leaving at 7am and not getting home until 8.30, no training there then!
Wednesday evening I was ready to smash it and pushed through a 40 minute weighted workout feeling good!
T had left for a 3 day residential trip with the school so I was distracting myself with my fitness and it worked 😄
Thursday I had a free gym pass to go to the gym with Scott, it was so much fun 😁 We spent a long time in the weights area and tried everything using different weights for different moves, using a bar, dumbbells, kettlebells, every single weighted machine, we loved it and were in there an hour and a half! We followed that by a dip in the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi and steam room and sauna before popping out for something to eat. It was the most fun day 🥰
Friday I worked all day and then my T came home so I squeezed in a 25 minute workout before 7am. I never knew I would love having definition in my legs until I got it! I’ve always had chunky legs but now I’m starting to build muscle I’m finally starting to like them!
T had the best time sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, and just having fun with her friends but bless her she was so tired. Mean Mummy made her to go her riding lesson, because I know she loves it and would be sad if she didn’t go, so she had a shaky start and was a bit tearful because she wasn’t enjoying it. Cue mean Mummy feeling really mean, but by half way she was smiling and this was her at the end!
It was worth playing the mean Mummy to see this face and all the fuss she gave him after.
We had a nice healthy dinner of chicken satay and a huge pile of green veg and chilled out catching up with my best friend and T on her adventures.
We learnt you can make an emoji of yourself on my new phone too, this is T 😂
Today we are taking my friend out for coffee and cake for her birthday then T is at her Dad’s later so I’m planning to get an ab and lower body workout in.
Tomorrow we will be getting ready for my Nan’s 80th birthday party😊 I’m planning to do a special post just for my Nan because she is amazing.
