Ok so I might never have officially come off it, but you know what it’s like when you have a couple of days away and eat really badly, you just end up feeling like an unhealthy blob! 😂
I am so excited that it is almost 30 days until we go on holiday and I want to feel amazing for it so have decided that once it gets to 30 days I will be keeping myself fully on track until we go.
This does not mean I am shutting myself in the house for the month, or that I will not be enjoying life, just that the copious amounts of Easter eggs I have been enjoying lately, along with the Chinese, Indian and several glasses of wine over the last few weeks needs to stop!
Since completing the Graduate plan a month ago I have gained back a couple of inches and put on a couple of pounds, anyone that can eat the amount of chocolate I have put away and not put weight on I salute you! 🙌
This does not mean I am miserable or that I will be restricting myself to salads or shakes, just that I need to reign it in and focus on eating the right amount of the right foods for the next month so I can feel at my best in order to parade around in a bikini for a week! 😁🌝👙
Not currently being on a plan I need to build my own routine that I can stick to and will give me results over the next month so from Saturday I will be starting my mini plan. I’ve sxheduled in over the first week:
4 full body weighted workouts
2x 20 minute kettlebell sessions with T
2x 10 to 15 min abs sessions
1 or 2 banded workouts.
I’m planning week by week so I can adjust things as to how I’m feeling and what I have planned but I know I’m feeling so committed to this so I will try my best to complete as much of these as I can without overdoing it.
To help me progress I’ve added a 12kg kettlebell to my collection this week! I can swing and squat this but my aim is to be able to shoulder press it eventually.
I’m also going to be focussing on my diet more and prepping healthy snacks so I’m not tempted to reach for the Easter eggs, which I dont know about anyone else but we still have mountains of!
